God's Ridicule

Three Potentials are making a bet: "Is human nature good or evil?" The three each stick to their own view, and are stuck in endless quarrels. So, they find a saintly man and use their shuttle to weave imaginary, evil thoughts and force them into his mind. "Now, now... Let's see who wins!" The Potentials are clearly pleased. Each one is sure that they will come out victorious and is completely oblivious to the wails of the innocent.
